Hollywood Beach
Located on the West side of the Harbor, encompassing one linear mile, Hollywood Beach offers a pristine recreation area as well as a great vantage point to view the Channel Islands, extensive wildlife and vegetation. Public restrooms are located at the North end of the beach. Lifeguard services are provided from Memorial Day to Labor Day, weekends only. Ample free parking is available on the street or at the Channel Islands Harbor adjacent to Hollywood Beach.

Penisula Park
Peninsula Park has picnic tables, 1 playground, a recreation building, restrooms, showers, 2 tennis courts, concrete walks and turf area.

Silver Strand Beach
Located on the East side of the Harbor, encompassing one linear mile of beach, Silver Strand Beach is a world renowned surfing, boogie boarding and body surfing spot. Public restrooms are located at the North end of the beach. Lifeguard services are provided from Memorial Day to Labor Day, weekends only. Two parking lots are available, one adjacent to San Nicholas Road, the other adjacent to Sawtelle Avenue. Free parking is available from sunrise to sunset.

Dogs on the Beach
State Beaches: No dogs (only on leash at campground)
City Beaches: Allowed in park and on beach all-day on a leash. Clean-up after pet.
County Beaches: Allowed on beach before 9am and after 5pm on-leash only. Clean-up after pet.
