Honey Cup
Everything Honey Cup serves is hand crafted and delivered with care. Honey Cup offers anything from sweet yogurt parfaits and soft, crisp bagels to the “breakfast kitchen sink” and a delicious waffle bowl filled with berries and granola. What sets Honey Cup’s breakfast menu apart is its wide variety of espresso, coffee, iced drinks, blended drinks, and smoothie menu. Honey Cup is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday – Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.
Mrs. Olson’s Coffee Hut
Mrs. Olson’s Coffee Hut is regarded as one of the best places to eat breakfast in Ventura County. Enjoy panoramic views of the water as you dine on generous portions of signature dishes like chilaquiles, the surfer’s burrito, rainbow trout and eggs, and more. This can’t miss restaurant fills up fast so make sure you get there early and grab a table with a view. Mrs. Olson’s is open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sea Fresh Channel Islands
Owner Bill Sutton fishes daily, weather permitting, and supplies the restaurant with the highest quality seafood. Enjoy the fruits of Bill’s labor by sitting outside on one of two outdoor patios right on the water. Sea Fresh’s breakfast menu includes all your basics. However, you might want to try the smoked salmon or Sea fresh omelet, which includes shrimp, bay scallops, crab, pepper jack cheese and Pico de Gallo. Sea Fresh offers breakfast on weekends from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Spudnuts
If you crave doughnuts, Spudnuts at Fisherman’s Wharf will not disappoint. In addition to doughnuts, you can find pastries, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches and coffee drinks. One of the doughnuts they offer is the equivalent to six doughnuts and might be the size of a young adult’s head! Locals visit this doughnut shop early in the morning to get their fill of pastries and coffee. If you visit often enough, the staff will quickly learn your name and regular order! Spudnuts is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The Waterside Restaurant & Wine Bar
Breakfast is only available here on Sundays, but you don’t want to miss this restaurant’s Farmers Brunch. Waterside offers customers classically inspired dishes, prepared using only the finest ingredients available locally from the bounty of the Oxnard Plain and coastal waters. You and your guests can sit in an intimate dining room area with Harbor views or outside in a glass-enclosed heated patio. From house-made zucchini bread with honey butter and crab benedict to fruit salad and the Waterside Brunch Burger, there is something for everyone. Brunch is served 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
