We are excited to have Andy’s Gang play at this week’s free Concerts by the Sea summer series.

This band is led by Andy Cahan, formerly the keyboardist for the legendary Turtles band. Andy was the music director for the Grammys for Little Richard and Chuck Berry, recorded with Ringo Starr, Jimi Hendrix, Harry Nilsson, Jimmy Webb and Eric Carmen, just to name a few.

Each performance in the free summer concert series will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Peninsula Park, 3401 Peninsula Rd, Oxnard at the Channel Islands Harbor, next to the Hampton Inn. Free parking is available at the park and along the street. Visitors can enjoy a wide array of musical styles, including jazz, rock, folk, pop, country and blues.

Don’t forget to bring your picnics, blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy this fun family event.
