Bring your favorite beach chair or blanket, snacks, sunscreen and children and head down to Harbor View Park on May 8, 2022  to enjoy Fairy Tales in the Park.

Gypsies in a Trunk, an all-volunteer group of actors, performs Fairy Tales in the Park throughout Ventura County for the young and young-at-heart.

On September 4th, the performance presented will be The Wizard of Oz.

You know ’em, you love ’em! Dorothy from Kansas has just been thrown into the Land of Oz and meets all sorts of crazy people! The Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion.
But she’s also incurred the wrath of Elphaba, the nasty Wicked Witch of the West! Maybe the Great and Powerful Wizard of OZ in the Emerald City can help her get back home! And what’s up with her dog, Toto?

Location

Harbor View Park is located at 3600 Harbor Blvd. just south of Marine Emporium Landing in Oxnard. Curtain time is 2 p.m. and the show is designed to run approximately 45 minutes, which coincides with the attention span of the target age group, 3-10 year olds.

Shows are always free, but donations are welcome!
