August 25, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

2nd Annual SeanCo Strong - Car, Truck Motorcycle Shoe CIH (2018)

The Channel Islands Harbor will play host to a car show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday that benefits children with disabilities.

Proceeds from the 2nd Annual SeanCo Strong Memorial Ride & Car Show will raise money for the Sean Mahaney Foundation – dedicated to raising money to pay for grants for sports wheelchairs for children with disabilities.

Event organizers are expecting anywhere from 150-200 cars and motorcycles to be on display.

This event will be fun for the whole family. There will be a bounce house, live music, food, games, and much more.

About the Sean Mahaney Foundation

The foundation is named after Sean Mahaney, a legend in the custom car world who died in 2017 in a motorcycle accident.

Prior to his death, Sean and his wife Donna founded SeanCo Custom Wheelchairs after watching their daughter, Trinity, at an adaptive sports camp with her friends. Sean took his knowledge of wheels & suspension and paired it with Donna’s experience and knowledge of wheelchair seating & design and together they made some amazing wheelchairs!

The Sean Mahaney Foundation was founded in memory of Sean shortly after his death by friends and family.  Together, they are working to carry on the torch Sean ignited by raising funds to support a grant program designed to help pay for adaptive sports equipment for kids.

With the high costs of adaptive sports equipment prohibiting many families from getting their kids involved in sports, the Sean Mahaney Foundation hopes to relieve the financial burden of adaptive sports wheelchairs paving the way for more kids with disabilities to get out and have fun!
