Gypsies in a Trunk, an all-volunteer troupe of actors, performs fairy tales for the young and young at heart.  The troupe’s love of children’s theatre has led them to perform every May through September all over Ventura County.  The shows are free with donations suggested.

On September 1, 2019, Gypsies in a Trunk present “The Snow Queen: A Frozen Adventure.” Here is a summary of the performance:

When an EVIL mirror shatters, a shard of that mirror falls into the eye of Christoff, who turns hilariously wicked and mean. His BFF, Annabelle, can’t understand what’s gotten into Christoff, but Bob the goblin comes to the rescue! But, too late! Crystal, the Snow Queen, has snatched poor Christoff away to her Ice Palace (which is guarded by Olaf, the ferocious Ice Beast). Annabelle & Bob must make a silly and heroic attempt to get him back before he freezes into a popsicle!!
